A dynamic and intensive program combining iconic peaks, authentic villages, high-alpine panoramas, and hiking - flexible and fully adaptable depending on weather and visibility.
24 – Arrival & Rigi – The Queen of the Mountains
Arrival 11:20 – Zurich Airport
- ✈️Airport → Zurich Main Station (10 min by train)
- 🚶♂️Walk to Hotel Felix (10 min) – luggage drop
After a short refresh:
- 🚆Zurich → Rigi Kulm (approx. 1.5 h by train & cogwheel railway)
Afternoon on Rigi with panoramic views over Lake Lucerne and the Alps.
🥾 Hike along the Rigi ridge for stunning views.
Return to Zurich for overnight.

25 – Zermatt & The Matterhorn Region
Morning transfer:
- 🚆Zurich → Zermatt (approx. 3 h)
Depending on visibility:
- 🚡Gornergrat (40 min cogwheel train)
- OR
- 🚠Klein Matterhorn (40 min cable car)
Time to explore:
- The Old Village of Zermatt
- Matterhorn Museum
🥾 Hike: Gornergrat → Rotenboden (~45–60 min) for immersive Matterhorn views.
Late afternoon:
- 🚆Zermatt → Saas-Almagell (approx. 2 h train & bus)
Overnight at Hotel Monte-Moro.

26 – High Alpine Experience – Saas Valley
A full high-mountain day:
- 🚡Revolving Restaurant Allalin (cable car & funicular)
- 🚡Längfluh
- 🚡Hohsaas
Glaciers, 4000-meter peaks and immersive alpine scenery.
🥾 Hiking options: Längfluh → Saas-Fee descent (~2–2.5 h) OR Hohsaas alpine trails for glacier views
Overnight again at Hotel Monte-Moro.

27 – Jungfrau Region & Scenic Route to Lucerne
Morning transfer:
- 🚆Saas-Almagell → Grindelwald (approx. 3 h)
Then:
- 🚡Grindelwald First (40 min cable car)
- 🚆Grindelwald → Lauterbrunnen (1 h train)
- 🚆Lauterbrunnen → Mürren (20 min train & cable car)
- 🚡Mürren → Stechelberg (6 min cable car) or via Gimmelwald (approx. 15 min)
- 🚌Stechelberg → Lauterbrunnen (20 min bus)
- 🚆Lauterbrunnen → Lucerne (2.5 h train)
🥾 Hiking options: Grindelwald First panoramic walk and Mürren → Gimmelwald (~1 h downhill)

Instead of parts of the Jungfrau program:
- Top of Europe (Jungfraujoch) – approx. 4 h from Saas-Almagell (train, cable car & cogwheel railway)

The program is intensive but fully adaptable. Adjustments are made daily based on:
- Weather conditions
- Visibility
- Energy level
- Personal preferences
Switzerland is about flexibility - the mountains decide, and we adapt for the best possible experience.
What to Bring / Packing List
- 🥾 Hiking boots (sturdy and waterproof)
- 🧥 Layered clothing: base layer, fleece/jacket, waterproof shell
- 🧤 Gloves, beanie, and warm socks
- 🕶 Sunglasses & sunscreen (high UV at altitude)
- 🎒 Backpack for day hikes
- 💧 Water bottle & snacks
- 🔋 Powerbank / phone charger
- 📸 Camera / smartphone for photos
- 🌂 Rain gear / poncho
